It was a week of learning and fun for a group of future police officers in the making last week in Coquitlam.

The RCMP “boot camp” is a full four-day academy that is structured similar to the force’s training camp in Regina.

The camp ran from July 3 to 6.

The academy, which was held at the Poirier Sports & Leisure Complex this year, was full.
