The Evergreen Cultural Centre plays host to the Pacific Theatre Company's adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Starring husband and wife tandem Kaitlin Williams and Mack Gordon, the show takes the audience through an adaptation of the popular CS Lewis story. Running until Saturday, Dec. 22, show times are 8 p.m. nightly, though a 4 p.m. showing is slated for Saturday, Dec. 22. Goh Ballet's presentation of The Nutcracker, which includes Port Coquitlam native Kaia Kochan, continues its four-day run at The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts, with show times on Friday and Saturday set for 7: 30 p.m. A 2 p.m. matinee will also be offered on Saturday, Dec. 22 and Sunday, Dec. 23. Micky's Irish Public House will play host to an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Fundraiser Party," starting at 6 p.m. at Micky's Irish Public House, 170 Golden Dr. in Coquitlam.
All monies collected will be donated to Variety - The Children's Charity and to Days for Girls International. A $25 ticket includes a Triple A sirloin burger with fries, Micky's house wine or beer and a cupcake dessert. The BC Aquasonics annual Christmas Watershow starts at 10 a.m. at the City Centre Aquatic Complex, 1210 Pinetree Way in Coquitlam.
Fraser Valley children and youth between the ages of six and 20, showcase solo, duet, and team synchronized swimming routines, with the entire BC Aquasonics club showcased in the grand finale performance. Admission by donation.
