As a mom of two young kids, I love participating in fun community activities around the Tri-Cities.
Farmers markets have been a great part of our summer, where we buy our produce, sample some goodies, and check out local artists and entrepreneurs. My kids have a lot of fun listening to the local musical talent - my three year old even refers to the Spirit Square Farmers Market as the "Dancing Market," as that's what she loves to do there.
On Aug. 24, my nine-month-old daughter was absolutely mesmerized by the young cellist, who even broke into "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" for her.
I hope these markets remain a vibrant part of our summer experiences for years to come.
