The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce held its sold-out Mayors' Barbecue at Port Moody's Inlet Theatre on Thursday, July 5.

Tables were set up both inside and outside of the building, to take advantage of the summer sun.

Mr Mikes grilled chicken, beef and veggie burgers for attendees, who ranged from chamber members to local politicians.

After the socializing, the crowd headed indoors to hear the mayors' views on a range of topics - everything from the future of the Riverview Hospital grounds to the Big A (amalgamation).

Their views on the latter?

"I've done my research," Port Coquitlam Mayor Greg Moore said. "Amalgamation doesn't make sense."
