Teachers' demands unreasonable

What is the government waiting for? It is time to legislate an end to the teachers' strike.

In their greed, the BC Teachers' Federation is holding our students hostage in a shameless effort to get better pay.

Why should the union compromise when teachers are being paid a full salary for doing less than half their job?

The BCTF is making unreasonable demands on a cash-strapped government. The world economy is in a tailspin, government revenue has cratered, people are losing their jobs in the private sector, and these guys want a 15percent wage increase.

Get real. Are the teachers smoking funny cigarettes or what?
