Tri-Cities mayors and councillors, as well as representatives of the SHARE food bank, gathered recently to celebrate the donation of 13,454 pounds of food as part of a fundraising challenge between the three cities. The food bank needs non-perishable items such as canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat, rice, pasta sauce, juice, cereal, granola bars and peanut butter. Food donations can be brought to the SHARE food bank at 2615 Clarke St. in Port Moody during the following hours: 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
