School District 43 will soon be receiving 20 new classrooms to make room for full-day kindergarten in the fall of 2011.
The initiative, funded by the Ministry of Education, will include 11 modular classrooms at nine school sites, which are yet to be determined. As well, additions will be built at Aspenwood Elementary for six classrooms and Bramblewood Elementary for three classrooms.
Space has already been allocated for District 43’s first batch of full-day kindergarten students starting in September 2010.
