Sunday is the day for the Festival Coquitlam Grand Parade, which launches its flotilla of floats, stuffies and smiles from the Coquitlam Centre mall parking lot along Pinetree Way to Coquitlam Town Centre park. The parade begins at 9:45 a.m. and is scheduled to reach the park and the Teddy Bear picnic by 11 a.m. The picnic festivities continue until 4 p.m.
