The Public Dreams Society staged A Midsummer Fête at Colony Farm Regional Park on Sunday, and larger-than-life puppets, quirky costumes and outdoor games kept visitors entertained and enthralled.
The group, which hosts Halloween and other events throughout Metro Vancouver, is known for its stilt-walking creatures and creative ways of drumming up community spirit.
Highlights of Sunday’s fête included band members playing unusual instruments, lively storytelling and colourful characters walking the grounds of scenic Colony Farm.
