The Theatrix Youtheatre Society will stage a fundraiser Nov. 30 that will see all proceeds donated to the Amanda Todd Legacy Fund.

Staged around a Zumba theme, the fundraiser is aimed at those 13 and older and will take place at Glen Elementary from 6 to 8: 30 p.m.

Raffle draws and silent auctions will play into the evening's proceedings, while Theatrix students will get their Zumba on between 7 and 8 p.m.

Nov. 20 marks the eighth Coquitlam rendition of Pecha Kucha Night, an evening of storytelling and networking that follows a central premise focusing on 20 slides and 20second intervals.

The upcoming event will include artists, authors, historians, actors and writers all coming together to share their stories at the Evergreen Cultural Centre. Doors open at 6: 30, and the show starts at 7: 30 p.m.
