Saturday's Evening of Caring gala was one for the record books.

About $120,000 was raised, representing the highest total garnered in one event, and those funds will go towards the purchase of an echo-cardiac ultrasound machine for Eagle Ridge Hospital.

Organized by the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, the event featured a live auction, fine dining, live music and dancing.
