Are you interested in volunteering for the Relay for Life, which takes place June 1 in Coquitlam?

If so, you can learn more about volunteer opportunities at a meeting tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 21) from 6: 30 to 8 p.m. at the Poirier Community Centre, at 570 Poirier St.

The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to join the Relay for Life organizing committee.

Positions include team development, fundraising development, survivor development, team recruitment, ceremonies, food and beverage, sponsorship and survivor recruitment.

The time commitment for all roles is approximately three to five hours per week between November and July.
