WinemakingTM and Port Moody artist Melanie Cossey will host An Evening of Philanthropy, Artistry & Oenology at the Winexpert Beyond the Grape on-premise winemaking store at 3030 St. Johns St., from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The event will benefit the SHARE food bank, according to a press release, with a donation of $10 from any wines purchased that evening going to the charity, as will 10 per cent of the cost of any original art piece sold.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation to SHARE, and those who do will be entered into a draw for a coaster set featuring Cossey's art and four Reidel O Series glasses, or a Selection International grapeskin wine kit.
