Wedding bells were ringing for Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam MP James Moore over the holidays.

Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, married his longtime girlfriend Courtney Payne in Ottawa on Dec. 29.

Payne works for Prime Minister Stephen Harper's office. As well, Defence Minister Peter McKay announced his marriage to Nazanin Afshin-Jam in a private ceremony Wednesday.
