Organizers of what's being billed as the "biggest indoor garage sale fundraiser in the TriCities" are seeking donations.
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School, 1335 Dominion Ave. in PoCo.
Organizers say the sale attracts treasure hunters from across the Lower Mainland because of its wide range of "clean and tested reusable items at reasonable prices."
Donations of new or used housewares, tools, small appliances, clothing, sporting goods and furniture will be accepted for drop off at the school, on Saturdays only (Oct. 6, 13 and 20), from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Pickup is also available. Contact Darren at 604-340-2768, 604-767-8214 or dhancott@shaw.ca to schedule a pickup of bulky or heavy items. TVs, monitors, printers and computers - as well as defective, incomplete, recalled, contaminated and heavily soiled items - will not be accepted.
