The Coquitlam Public Library will host a forum called Better at Home: A Nonmedical Support Program for Seniors, on Friday, Feb. 15.

This event will take place from 10: 30 a.m. to noon at the library's Poirier branch, at 575 Poirier St.

Better at Home is designed to help seniors with simple non-medical tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, yard work, snow removal, simple home repair, transportation to appointments and friendly visits. Linda Western, community developer for Better at Home, will be at the library to speak about the program with seniors and non-profit community groups dedicated to serving seniors.
