PoCo Mayor Greg Moore was on hand for the officialopening and launch of the city's second artificial turf field, held in conjunction with PoCo Euro-Rite FC Soccer Association's 2012-13 mini jamboree last weekend. The mayor and councilmembers took part in a ribbon-cuttingceremony to open the new field at Gates Park. The mini jamboreefeatured about 1,500 members, includingplayers, coaches and volunteers. Teams played two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday.
