A missing teenage girl has been found and reunited with her family.

Coquitlam RCMP had been looking for 14-year-old Lorna Nelmes, who was last seen by her father on Monday, Jan. 13 when he dropped her off at a drop-in centre near Lougheed Mall in Burnaby.

When the Coquitlam teen didn't return home, her family contacted police on Jan. 15 to report her missing.

Police asked for the public's help to find Nelmes on Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, they announced that she had been located.
