Coquitlam Mounties are appealing for the public's help to find a Port Coquitlam teen who has been missing for more than a week.

Tryston Colinn, 16, was reported missing on Jan. 2, but was last heard from on Dec. 27.

Police said the teen has a medical condition that requires medication.

Tryston is described as Caucasian, standing six feet tall and weighing 145 pounds.

He has hazel eyes, short brown hair and was last seen wearing a pair of red/black/ grey denim pants.

Investigators believe Colinn may have travelled to the B.C. Interior to meet a friend.

If sighted, police are recommending the public do not approach him and instead call 911 or the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2013-176.
