Students at Coquitlam’s Rochester Elementary School recently held a bottle drive to raise funds for the family of 10-year-old Adam Thomas. The group filled 17 bins with empties, and collected more than $1,100 in the process. A Rochester student, Thomas is currently undergoing chemotherapy. You can help by dropping off bottles at the Blue Mountain Bottle Depot (511 Blue Mountain St.) and specifying that your donation is for “Adam’s account.”
