The City of Port Coquitlam will be testing water mains and services through Jan. 11 in neighbourhoods north of Prairie Avenue as part of its new leak detection program.

Taking place northeast of Prairie Avenue and Wellington Street, the testing is "nonintrusive and is not anticipated to affect the water quality or supply in the area," according to a press release from the city.

Most of the testing will take place between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
