Coquitlam (left) and Burnaby Power and Sail Squadron members show items recovered by three scuba divers armed with mesh “goodie bags” who dove under and around the docks at Twin Islands and Belcarra Park to pick up foreign material on Sept. 22. The haul included crab traps, sunglasses, pop and beer cans, fishing poles, kitchen utensils, kayak paddles, a tire and a golf ball. The event was held on the same day as the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.
