It doesn't appear any charges will come from an altercation at a Burquitlam motel earlier this week that ended up shattering a window in one of the rooms.

Coquitlam Mounties were called to the Sleepy Lodge Motel on Clarke Road around midnight Wednesday on a report of a disturbance.

When police arrived, they found two people inside a room who had just fought.

Investigators aren't saying much about the incident, other than the two people involved knew each other, there were no injuries and charges won't likely be brought forward.

For several hours on Wednesday, the room was closed to police tape, while shattered glass was on the ground from a broken window.

A hotel employee told The NOW he heard there was a fight between a couple who had been living in the suite for about 10 days.
