COQUITLAM The driver of a car involved in a single-vehicle crash in Coquitlam last week has died of his injuries.
Coquitlam Mounties said the 17-year-old succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
He had been on life support in hospital since the crash last Tuesday.
The teens name is not being released.

The deadly accident happened just before 4 p.m. on Nov. 13.
RCMP said the vehicle was travelling southbound on Shaughnessy Street when the driver lost control of the car.
The car ended up crossing the centre line before crashing into a tree on the other side of the road.
The driver was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
Shaughnessy near David Avenue and Lodge Drive was shut down while police investigated.
Investigators at the time believed speed was a factor in the incident.
The road was also wet at the time of the crash, and the scene was near a major curve.
Mounties are urging witnesses who have not spoken to police to call investigators at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2012-31909.
