Call it a Coquitlam coup. Coquitlam Sharks Swimming club members cleaned up at last week's B.C. Summer Swimming Association provincial championships, copping first-place finishes across the board in all diving categories.
The Sharks got it done in the junior and senior ranks, en route to capturing the Team Challenge trophy with 790 points.
The junior girls were victorious after posting 330 points, while the boys turned the trick with 316.
Both senior teams nabbed 72 points to claim victory at the Coquitlam-based tourney.
Delia Puchalski and Tavia Knoke took first and second respectively in the 9-10 girls one metre bracket, while Alanna Marrington and Sarah Lee did the same in 11-12 girls three metre and one metre events.

BOYS: Fedor Tarasova, gold in u-8 three metre and silver in u-8 one metre; Kaden Powell, gold in 9-10 one metre; Finn Clements, gold in 11-12 three metre and one metre; Austin Karesa, gold in 15-16 one metre and three metre; Adrian Blake, bronze in 9-10 three metre; James Knoke, bronze in u-8 one metre;
GIRLS: Natalia Misci, silver in 9-10 one metre and silver in 9-10 three metre; Tessa Krocak, gold in 13-14 one metre and 13-14 three metre; Delia Puchalski, gold in u-8 one metre;
Swimmers from the Port Moody Aquarians nailed down third in junior and senior girls, and fourth in the junior boys bracket.
Leading the medal charge for the Port Moody club were: Jacob Canales-Zorilla, gold in u-8 men's one metre; Marissa Wellman, bronze in u-8 girls three metre; Isabel Hwang, bronze in u-8 girls one metre; Sophia Clay, bronze in girls 9-10 one metre and Amanda Wellman, bronze in girls 13-14 one metre.
