Keel earns Cup exemption
Jisoo Keel is usually exemplerary. Now, she's got an exemption.
The Coquitlam golfer has been granted a roster spot for Team B.C. for the 2012 Royale Cup Canadian Junior Girls Golf championship in Calgary.
The 16-year-old member of Team Canada was provided the exemption due to a scheduling conflict that prevented her from playing in the B.C. Junior girls championships in two weeks.
Keel will be looking to improve on last year's runner-up showing at the Royale Cup championship, where she placed second behind friend and former Gleneagle Secondary teammate Jennifer Yang.
The Royale Cup Canadian Jr. Girls championship runs July 31 to Aug. 3 at Calgary's River Spirit Golf Club.
