Nothing like a little history to help set the table. Simon Fraser University's Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe established a new Great Northwest Athletic Conference career record for double-doubles, helping guide the women's basketball team to a 75-51 victory over the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves.

The Toronto native cashed in her eighth double-double of the season, and 49th of her SFU career, while breaking the old career mark held by former Seawolves player Rebecca Kielpinski.

Raincock-Ekunwe scored 11 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead all players.

Port Coquitlam's Kristina Collins topped all shooters with 15 points, including nine from outside the arc. The senior guard also posted a game-high nine assists and got the ball rolling with a three-pointer that began an 11-0 run to start the game. She would close out the first half with another trey to put the Clan ahead 43-16. Erin Chambers and Katie Lowen chipped in 13 and 12 points respectively for SFU.

The win pushes SFU's record to 11-1 on the year, including 4-0 in GNAC action. They play 20th-ranked Western Washington in Bellingham on Saturday.
