The pre-season exhibition grind continued this week for the Coquitlam Express, as the club posted a 1-2-2 record over the course of five games in five nights beginning last Saturday.

The club's most recent result was a 4-2 loss to Surrey on Wednesday night, a day before the B.C. Hockey League team posted a 5-4 overtime win over Chilliwack.

Monday's 7-4 setback was preceded by a pair of ties with Surrey (4-4) and Chilliwack (2-2) over the weekend.

The Express play host to SFU's men's team tonight (Friday) at 8 p.m.

The BCHL showcase kicking off the regular season runs Sept. 7 to Sept. 9 in Chilliwack.
