Back to the regular ebb and flow of junior hockey.
The Coquitlam Express followed a 5-2 win over the Victoria Grizzlies on Friday with a disappointing 5-4 setback to the Langley Rivermen on Saturday.
In the win, rookie Jace Hennig scored his first junior A goal and set up another as the Express knocked off Victoria in the provincial capital. Alexander Kerfoot's marker early in the second proved to be the winner.
In the loss, Langley cashed in three straight goals to take charge. Brady Shaw finished the weekend with four goals and an assist.
Coquitlam hosts Victoria on Friday, 7 p.m. at the Poirier Sports Centre, before heading to the Island for a pair of games.
