The Coquitlam-Port Moody Ringette organization is hosting a free "Come Try Ringette" event on Saturday, Sept 29.

Slated from 1 to 3 p.m. at Coquitlam's Planet Ice , the event is geared towards children aged five to 12, and no skating experience is required.

Participants should bring skates and helmets, though some equipment and sticks will be provided for attendees to borrow.
