The Coquitlam junior Adanacs' defence of their B.C. title began in earnest last night against the Delta Islanders (past The NOW's deadline).

Coquitlam, which won all three regular season encounters, will head to North Delta's Sungod Arena for Game 2 on Thursday. Coquitlam hosts Game 3, Aug. 6, with Game 4 back at Sungod on Aug. 8. The best-of-seven final will continue, if necessary, Aug. 9, 11 and 12. Game time is 8 p.m.
