The Coquitlam 9/10 major A's pushed the South Vancouver side to the margin in the B.C. Major Little League championship on Sunday, before falling 13-7.

Tied 3-3 in the third inning, the final shifted in South Van's favour in the fourth when they scored eight times. Trailing 13-5 in the sixth, Coquitlam mounted some pressure and scored twice but couldn't overcome the deficit.

It was a historic win for South Vancouver Little League, being the first-ever provincial banner for the 56-year-old association.

In the semifinal Coquitlam clipped Little Mountain 12-6.
