The Port Coquitlam midget Bomb Squad unleashed its own version of the Harlem Shake on ice and rewarded their fans and families with a well-deserved 6-2 triumph over the Coquitlam Chiefs in the midget C hockey Fraser Valley North league playoff final.

Third-year captain Carson Bradley set the tone as the club unleashed a brilliant team performance to outplay its cross-river rivals.

Scoring two goals apiece were Graydon Bradley and Travis Uyesugi, with single markers from David Manky and Mathew Smith.

Netminder Zac Shepert had a stellar game, turning aside 28 shots.

The Bomb Squad, who posted a 10-8 regular season mark and surged ahead of the pack with a 5-1 record in the playoffs, now wrap up the season at the PoCo Midget Spring Break tournament.

BANNER FOR PANTHERS

The Port Moody bantam A2 Panthers are B.C.s bound after capturing the Tier 3 banner, thanks to a dramatic 2-1 victory over Coquitlam.

Kyle Shaben's point shot stood up as the difference, as Port Moody completed an amazing run. Zack Kulsky scored the first Panthers goal, off a setup from Mitchell Booth.

Earlier, they edged Langley 1-0 with Jacob Patterson's blast breaking the stalemate.

They began the Final Four with a tough 5-1 loss to North Shore, with Brayden Rastad netting Port Moody's lone goal, off an assist from Nicholas Rigby.

The Panthers, who finished fifth in Tier 3, eliminated the Burnaby Winter Club by outscoring them 13-3 during the four-point elimination series.

The B.C.s go March 18 to 21 in Dawson Creek.
