Pointing the way after a successful drive during a recent exhibition game, Fox's Jericho Mendez finished with 124 yards on 15 carries in Thursday's playoff win.

One more win separates the Terry Fox Ravens from the B.C. junior football final. The undefeated Ravens advanced to the semifinals by clobbering Lord Tweedsmuir 36-6 on Thursday.
Quarterback Conner McKee kicked off the scoring with a 52-yard run into the end zone.
The defence continued their dominance, holding the Surrey school to just 49 yards total offence and four first downs in the first half. They increased their lead when McKee hit Mike West on a 26-yard pass, and Dylan Foulds for a 30-yard major. Pulling down a pair of errant Tweedsmuir passes was Bryce Mayoh.
In the second half, the undefeated Ravens found the end zone again when Foulds caught an eight-yard pass from McKee and Taylor Poitras returned an interception 37 yards.
Racking up 124 yards on 15 carries was Jericho Mendez, while McKee carried the ball 10 times for 68 yards. He completed four of 13 pass attempts for 82 yards and three majors.
Jordan Seney led the defence with eight and a half tackles and a QB sack.
Fox plays Mount Doug on Thursday, 3 p.m. at Burnaby Lakes.
Fumbles cue playoff loss
The road to the Subway Bowl B.C. football final ended in Victoria for the Terry Fox Ravens.
The senior AAA squad's season came to a close behind a 45-20 loss to the defending provincial champion Mount Douglas Rams on Friday in the quarterfinals.
On the team's second run from scrimmage, a turnover gave the defending champs their first opening - and the Rams took off. Although they only trailed 3-0 after one quarter, a series of first half fumbles clinched their fate.
"[Mount Doug] has some real talent, but it's hard to compete when you struggle with the football that much," Fox co-coach Martin McDonnell said. "We did some good things and our players were trying their hardest, but you're just not going to win when you drop the ball five times in the first half."
The Rams led 24-0 at halftime and pulled down a big interception while the Ravens were deep in Mount Doug territory.
Late in the third quarter Fox quarterback Trevor Casey connected with receiver Brad Lyons for a 51-yard touchdown to make it 32-6.
Completing their high school football careers were Brett Boyce, Nathan Dalton, Peter Ghanem, Brian Hope, Justin Jack, Mate McLeod-Genest, Ken Payne, Jeff Tilkin, Colton Wheeler, Casey and Lyons.
