It's going to be a jam-packed summer for 10 Tri-Cities lacrosse players.

The Burnaby Mountain Selects announced the 2010 summer rosters and a busy schedule for the coming months.

In the program's seventh season, it has built up a stellar reputation as a terrific player development source and an excellent academic scouting tool.

The 2010 elite touring teams -- which cover four different divisions -- are aiming to keep that ball rolling.

Making the grade this year on the under-13 squad are Anmore midfielder Dylan Kaminski and goalie Gordy Bowden of Coquitlam.

The sophomore squad (1995 birth dates) features PoCo attacker Kyran Clarke, goalie Grayson Greer, midfielder Ty Klarner and defender Quinton Pavan.

Port Moody's Taylor Stuart and Coquitlam's Alex Thomson, both midfielders, are the lone junior (1994) team representatives, while the senior squad (1992-93) features PoCo defender Mitch Cavallarin and netminder Mitch Klarner.

With instruction from Simon Fraser University men's lacrosse coaches Jeff Cathrea and Brent Hoskins, the program will see 66 student/athletes attend and compete in high-calibre tournaments in Colorado, Massachusetts and Maryland.

Athletes will also visit such famed campuses as Harvard, the University of Denver, John Hopkins University and the University of Maryland.

First launched in 2006, the program is designed to provide skilled athletes with elite competition and training opportunities while preparing them for possible collegiate lacrosse careers in Canada, the U.S. or further abroad.
