One game separates the Coquitlam Vikings from B.C. junior bantam supremacy and an unblemished season.
The local gridiron crew punched its ticket to this weekend's provincial football final against West Kelowna after easily dispatching of the Abbotsford Falcons 36-6 last weekend at Percy Perry Stadium.
Hard-pressed to even see the ball due to heavy fog, the Vikings got it done on the weight of a balanced scoring attack, with four players scoring majors in the win.
Nico DePaoli collected both of his touchdowns in the first half, while Xavion Fleary accounted for the other Coquitlam major to bring the first half to a close with the Vikings out front 22-0.
With the damage already done, Moe Hussan and Matt Sheun collected two more touchdowns in the second half to seal the win.
The Vikings will now look to run the gamut and pull off a perfect season Sunday, when the club takes on the West Kelowna Sundevils in the provincial final. Game time is 11: 30 a.m. at Langley's McLeod Athletic Park.
. The peewee Wildcats, meanwhile, fell 40-6 to the Cloverdale Bobcats in last weekend's VMFL final.
