Young wrestlers are grappling at the Langley Events Centre this week.

Wrestling BC's War on the Floor is taking place at the LEC arena bowl. Featuring some of the best in B.C. amateur wrestling, the tournament started Wednesday (Dec. 19) and continues through to Friday (Dec. 21).

Wednesday featured the wrestlers in Grades 6-8. Today's matches involve athletes in Grades 9-12. The wrestlers in Grades 9-10 begin competing at 10 a.m. followed by the Grade 11 and 12 competitors starting at 1 p.m.

The final day of action on Friday is for the high school elite wrestlers and matches get underway at 10 a.m.

This category is for any Grade 8-12 athlete, including those who have medaled in a novice or elite tournament. It is also open to out-of-province athletes.
