Wall-to-wall friends and family came to celebrate the induction and honours expressed to Coquitlam's sports leaders last Thursday, as the Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame held its third annual induction ceremony.
With a full house of 260 people filling the Poirier Sports Centre's lobby, the evening featured moving speeches and graceful thank-yous from those who were being honoured for careers worth of achievements and dedication.
The ceremony, hosted for the third time by TV sportscaster Barry Deley, began with Hall of Fame member Lui Passaglia presenting awards to this year's Wall of Fame recipients, celebrating the achievements of 2011.

Entering the hall in the builders category for 2012 were William Azzi (soccer), Don Cunnings (community) and Lois McNary (Special Olympics).
