It was an impressive medal haul for TAG Sports Centre at last month's provincial trials for trampoline and tumbling in Burnaby.
In total, the Coquitlam-based gymnastics club carted off 17 gold, 13 silver and nine bronze in a competition that drew national athletes battling for national championship rating, and for provincial rankings towards the Western Canada Cup in June, which TAG will host.
Kyle Carragher picked up triple gold in national tumbling, double-mini and trampoline, while Tamara O'Brien scored gold in national senior girls' double-mini and trampoline. Other results in the national stream were Kassidy Kask, first in tumbling and second in double-mini; Alex Phillips-Taylor, who topped tumbling and took second in double-mini; Erin England, who won double-mini; and Jared Khalifa, who was second in both tumbling and double-mini.
In B.C. events, Taya Clyne won tumbling and stood second in trampoline, while Ellie Dockerty got gold in double-mini and silver in tumbling.
