COQUITLAM - Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in finding a man who went missing from the Riverview Hospital grounds late last week.

Michael Louis Andrews, 55, was last seen by staff at the Cottonwood Lodge on Friday, Dec. 28.

Andrews is described as Caucasian, standing five-feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He has medium-length salt-and-pepper hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

Mounties note that Andrews suffers from a mental disorder and should not be approached. Instead, the public is asked to contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2012-36351.
