Summer music class
The Chilliwack Academy of Music has a host of summer programs with something for everyone. Clay 2012

Dance performance
The Fleita Tutte School of Dance presents its year-end tea and matinee performance of "Showtime 2012" on June 10 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould St. The program covers many music and dance styles-tap, jazz, ballet, musical comedy and hip hop with students ranging in age from three years to adult. Come and enjoy some hot tea and coffee and some delicious goodies and then relax and enjoy the show. Tickets at the door adults $10, seniors $8.
Mostly Mozart
The Fraser Valley Philharmonic Society presents "Mostly Mozart 2012" June 9 in the theatre of the old Arts Centre on College Avenue. Cultus parade

Droning of Bombers
The University of The Fraser Valley Theatre department's production of Droning of Bombers in the studio theatre on the Chilliwack campus continues until June 10. Shows run June 7, 8 and 9 at 7: 30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee June 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and all proceeds will go towards providing scholarships for UFV theatre students. Jordanka's Art Gallery
Jordanka's Art Gallery is open for visits. Jordanka's work features original acrylic paintings of mysterious trees, whimsical scenes of children playing in the snow and vibrant abstract compositions. White Water Black Gold
PIPE UP Network presents a screening of White Water Black Gold, an award-winning film that examines the issues around the extraction and pipeline transport of bitumen. Lace Club meets
The Chilliwack Lace Club meets every month on the second and fourth Thursdays (next meeting June 14) from noon to 3 p.m. in the Slesse Room of Evergreen Hall. Bring your lunch. Busking call
The City of Chilliwack is putting a call out for any and all street entertainers wanting to participate in the 2012 Entertainment Season. In 2011, the program proved to be very successful with three locations set out for the program: Central Community Park, Sardis Park and the Clock Tower at Five Corners. These locations will again be used. The city hopes to add more downtown locations this year and encourage any interested musicians, magicians, thespians and others to participate in this exciting program.
